Eternal City Tours is primarily comprised of students from some of the various Pontifical Universities here in the Eternal city of Rome; working on various degrees in Theology, Philosophy, and History and Cultural Heritage of the Church. Most of us hail from the United States, with English as our native tongue. We also have a vast array of experience concerning tour-guiding in Rome, covering the major sites of cultural, historic, and Christian interest. As for our circumstances, most of us came to Rome feeling that it symbolized the heart of world culture and Christian faith, and that it would be a perfect place to pursue studies. All in all, we are still drawn here because there is something truly beautiful and nostalgic about Rome, and only a few places on earth can offer such an experience. Everyday we walk the same roads and alleys that the greatest and worst of men walked, from apostles to apostates, from great leaders to ferocious dictators. There is nothing quite like being present in a city where so many opposites co-exist. Rome will always be a home away from home for us. Our tours seek to dispel some of the more dubious notions concerning certain aspects of history, and we also address acute, finer details in the hopes that you will gain a better general understanding.
